Client: You, the client or member ("You"/"Your"/"Yours")

By signing up for a membership, booking a class (studio, online, or PAYG), or scheduling a 1-1 appointment (physiotherapy, private Pilates, or sports massage) with Animated Physiotherapy Ltd, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which, together with your booking confirmation (sent via email), constitute the contract ("The Contract") between us for the supply of our services.

This Contract shall not be varied unless agreed in advance in writing between the parties.

Membership Options Overview

Animated Physiotherapy Ltd offers the following memberships, each with specific benefits as outlined below. All memberships are subject to the Terms and Conditions that follow.

Pilates Powerhouse Online Membership

Cost: £39/month

- Unlimited Zoom and on-demand sessions.

- Included members' benefits (e.g., access to online community, free summer and winter socials).

- If attending 2 sessions per week, works out to under £5 per class.

- Minimum term: 3 months.

Core Studio Membership

Cost: £45/month

- One Pilates class at the studio each week.

- Included members' benefits (e.g., access to online community, free summer and winter socials).

- If attending 1 Pilates class per week, works out to £10 per class.

- Minimum term: 3 months.

Premium Studio Membership

Cost: £72/month

- Two Pilates classes at the studio each week.

- Included members' benefits (e.g., access to online community, free summer and winter socials).

- If attending 2 Pilates classes per week, works out to under £8.50 per class.

- Minimum term: 3 months.

Core Plus Membership

Cost: £55/month

- One Pilates class at the studio each week.

- Unlimited Zoom and on-demand sessions.

- Included members' benefits (e.g., access to online community, free summer and winter socials).

- If attending 1 studio class and 1 Zoom class per week, works out to under £6.50 per class.

- Minimum term: 3 months.

Premium Plus Membership

Cost: £82/month

- Two Pilates classes at the studio each week.

- Unlimited Zoom and on-demand sessions.

- Included members' benefits (e.g., access to online community, free summer and winter socials).

- If attending 2 studio classes and 1 Zoom class per week, works out to under £6.50 per class.

- Minimum term: 3 months.

Platinum Plus Membership

Cost: £99/month

- Unlimited Pilates classes at the studio each week.

- Unlimited Zoom and on-demand sessions.

- Included members' benefits (e.g., access to online community, free summer and winter socials).

- If attending 2 studio classes and 1 Zoom class per week, works out to under £6.50 per class.

- Minimum term: 3 months.

Core Wellness Membership

Cost: £89/month

- One Pilates class at the studio each week.

- Unlimited Zoom and on-demand sessions.

- A monthly 60-minute massage OR 45-minute physio appointment (discounted to £39/month, over 30% off PAYG rate).

- Included members' benefits (e.g., access to online community, free summer and winter socials).

- If attending 1 studio class and 1 Zoom class per week, works out to under £6.50 per class.

- Minimum term: 3 months.

Premium Wellness Membership

Cost: £112/month

- Two Pilates classes at the studio each week.

- Unlimited Zoom and on-demand sessions.

- A monthly 60-minute massage OR 45-minute physio appointment (discounted to £33/month, over 40% off PAYG rate).

- Included members' benefits (e.g., access to online community, free summer and winter socials).

- If attending 2 studio classes and 1 Zoom class per week, works out to under £6.50 per class.

- Minimum term: 3 months.

Exclusive Platinum Wellness Membership

Cost: £129/month

- Unlimited studio Pilates classes.

- Unlimited Zoom and on-demand sessions.

- A monthly 60-minute massage OR 45-minute physio appointment (discounted to £28/month, over 50% off PAYG rate).

- 10% discount on additional physio, massage, or 1-1 Pilates sessions.

- Access to our online community (members-only Facebook group).

- Free summer and winter socials.

- Exclusive Platinum Wellness Welcome Bag.

- If attending 3 studio classes and 1 Zoom class per week, works out to under £6 per class.

- Minimum term: 6 months.

1. General Membership Terms

1.1 Membership Overview

Memberships provide access to services such as studio classes, Zoom classes, on-demand classes, and, where applicable, 1-1 massage or physio appointments, as detailed in your chosen membership description.

Memberships offer full or partial discounts on events/classes, though some may be excluded at our discretion.

1.2 Billing and Payment

Membership billing details include:

- Memberships are billed monthly, with the first payment due on the start date. Costs vary by membership type and are spread equally over the year (see membership descriptions for pricing).

- Payment details are securely stored for the membership duration.

1.3 Minimum Term and Cancellation

Membership terms and cancellation policies are as follows:

- All memberships have a minimum term of 3 months (or 6 months for Exclusive Platinum Wellness). The full term must be paid to receive the listed rate.

- Memberships cannot be cancelled early. To cancel after the minimum term, provide 30 days’ notice before the next billing date via email to

Mid-cycle cancellations will pro-rate the final month’s payment.

1.4 Studio and Class Access

Studio and class access details include:

- The studio operates 50 weeks/year (closed 2 weeks over Christmas). Reduced timetables may apply at our discretion.

- On-demand classes are accessible 52 weeks/year. Zoom classes are available when the studio is open.

1.5 Non-Transferability

Membership transferability rules:

- Memberships are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.

2. Class Waivers and Terms (Studio, Online, PAYG) (see full class waivers here: https://animatedphysio.co.uk/members-waivers)

2.1 Exercise Program Acknowledgment

Classes offer varying exercise levels, advancing based on your fitness. Instructors may stop sessions due to fatigue or strain. You must stop if you feel fatigue, pain, or discomfort and progress only as appropriate.

- Studio Classes: Progress under instructor guidance or with specific instructions for home use.

- Online Classes: Advice-only; adapt exercises yourself based on your health/fitness. 1-1 guidance is available. Exercise independently only if GP-approved.

2.2 Risks

Exercise may cause abnormal blood pressure, fainting, heart rhythm changes, or, rarely, heart attack, stroke, or death.

While we minimize risks via health evaluations and observation, your response is unpredictable. You participate at your own risk.

2.3 Recording Consent (Online Only)

Online class recording consent:

- You consent to online classes being recorded for retrospective viewing by yourself and other members.

2.4 Booking and Payment

Class booking and payment details:

- Book via Animated Physio Booking System. PAYG (Pay As You Go) classes require full payment upfront via credit/debit card. Memberships allocate class credits.

2.5 PAYG Class Cancellation

Cancellation policy for PAYG classes:

- To refund or reschedule, cancel by 8:00 PM the day before via your account/app. Late cancellations/no-shows incur 100% of the class fee, non-refunded.

2.6 Amending Bookings

Amending class bookings:

- Change PAYG class bookings by 8:00 PM the day before via account/app.

2.7 Unforeseen Changes

Handling unforeseen class changes:

- Classes are bookable 4 weeks ahead. If cancelled (e.g., instructor illness), we’ll notify you ASAP. PAYG bookings can transfer; membership credits are restored.

3.1 Health Responsibility

Your health responsibilities during appointments:

- Inform staff during appointments of health conditions/injuries affecting participation. Consult your GP if unsure. You participate at your own risk.

3.2 Risks

Risks associated with appointments:

- Activities may involve discomfort, injury, or rare adverse events. We ensure safety but cannot predict all outcomes.

3.3 Booking and Payment

Appointment booking and payment details:

- Book via Animated Physio Booking System, showing real-time availability. Full payment confirms appointments via credit/debit card.

3.4 Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policy for appointments:

- Cancel/reschedule 1-1 appointments with 24 hours’ notice via account/app. Late cancellations/no-shows incur 100% of the appointment fee, non-refunded.

3.5 Amending Bookings

Amending appointment bookings:

- Change appointments 24+ hours prior via account/app.

3.6 Unforeseen Changes

Handling unforeseen appointment changes:

- Appointments are bookable 6 weeks ahead. If cancelled (e.g., staff sickness), we’ll reschedule to suit you.

4. General Policies

4.1 Health and Safety

Health and safety requirements:

- Complete a health form before your first class/appointment via Animated Physio Booking System. Update us on health changes. Notify instructors/staff of conditions at session start.

Our studio lacks wheelchair access.

- Adhere to government health guidelines (e.g., COVID-19). Cancellation policies apply universally.

4.2 Conduct

Expected conduct during sessions:

- No unauthorized photos in classes. Wear appropriate attire (e.g., leggings, shorts, t-shirts). For appointments, bring clothing exposing injury areas (e.g., no jeans for knee issues).

- Be respectful and arrive on time. Late arrivals shorten appointment/class time.

4.3 Children

Policies regarding children:

- No minimum age for classes/appointments if children can focus without disruption. They may wait in reception/studio at your risk; you’re liable for damage.

4.4 Personal Belongings

Responsibility for personal belongings:

- We’re not responsible for loss/damage to possessions.

4.5 Free Trial (If Applicable)

Free trial terms:

- Offers discounts on select events/classes (some excluded). Non-refundable, non-transferable.

4.6 Massage and Physio Appointments (Where Applicable)

Massage and physio appointment details:

- 1x 60-min massage OR 45-min physio appointment per month, bookable from billing date to the next month’s billing date (e.g., 17th to 16th). Your responsibility to book; unused slots don’t roll over.

4.7 Data Protection

Data protection policy:

- Information is protected under the Data Protection Act 1984 and GDPR 2018.

4.8 Liability

Liability disclaimer:

- We’re not liable for injuries, losses, or damages from participation. You assume all risks.

4.9 Governing Law

Legal jurisdiction:

- Governed by England and Wales law, with disputes resolved there.
