Attendance Information: Physiotherapy & Sports Massage Appointments

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the way we run our studio has changed to ensure we are keeping both clients and staff as safe as possible. Please read the information below.

Our physiotherapy and sports massage appointments are held at:

Watch House Farm
Wash Road
Noak Bridge
Essex SS15 4ER

What do I need to bring?

We require you to wear a mask or face covering at all times throughout your physiotherapy appointment.  You are welcome to bring your own, or we can provide you with one, but this is mandatory in order for a physiotherapy or sports massage appointment to be completed safely.

What should I do when I arrive at the studio?

On arrival at the studio, you will be required to wait outside, either at a 2m distance outside the entrance, or you can wait in your car.  The physiotherapist taking your appointment will then call you in.  You must use hand sanitiser prior to entry – we have a hand sanitiser station outside the entry door.  The physiotherapist taking your appointment will be wearing a mask and PPE at all times as per the regulations of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

The physiotherapist will instruct you into the studio.  At the start of your appointment, the physiotherapist will read out the screening questions to confirm you are safe to be there and that you give your consent.

During your appointment

We hope you find your physiotherapy appointment helpful.  Once the appointment starts, you should not notice any difference compared with prior to lockdown, except that the physiotherapist is wearing PPE and you are wearing a face mask.

Can I use the toilet?

The toilet is available to be used if needed, but we encourage you avoid this if possible.  There will be anti-bacterial wipes available in the toilet for you to wipe surfaces and the door handle.

After your appointment

Once your appointment has finished, you will be asked to leave the studio in a timely manner to allow for cleaning and aeration of the premises prior to the next booking.  You may wish to wash your hands or use hand sanitiser on leaving the studio, and we encourage you to wash your hands as soon as you get home.

What if I test positive for Covid-19?

If you are unwell or develop symptoms please follow government guidelines, including contact from the NHS Track & Trace service regarding self-isolation.  If you are unable to attend the studio due to illness or self-isolation please give us as much notice as possible.  We are unable to refund sessions, but they can be rescheduled to a later date.
