As we look ahead to the new year, we’re really excited to share what’s coming to the studio in January! We’ve got some brilliant new ways for you to get moving, feel stronger, and start 2026 on a positive note – whether you’re completely new to exercise, ready to build confidence again, or keen to try something fresh.

Saturday 10th January – Birthday Pilates & Coffee Morning
It’s been 7 years since I took the leap and made Animated Physio my full-time business – and we’d love for you to come and celebrate with us!
Join us on Saturday 10th January for a morning of mini Pilates classes, coffee, tea, cake, and good company.
🕗 30-minute Pilates classes running every 45 minutes:
8:00am | 8:45am | 9:30am | 10:15am | 11:00am
There’ll be 15 minutes between each session for chatting and refreshments – and of course, you’re very welcome to stay longer to catch up and enjoy a slice (or two!) of cake.
✨ Free for all members (doesn’t count towards your normal class credits)
✨ £10 per person for non-members, including your class, coffee, tea, and cake
💜 Strong Backs, Strong Minds
Starts Tuesday 6th January at 12:30 pm – 6-week course, just £12 total
This part-funded course is designed to help adults living with back pain and the mental health challenges that often come with it, such as stress, low mood, and anxiety. It’s ideal for people who are not currently exercising and who have lost confidence in movement.
Over six weeks, you’ll build strength safely, improve flexibility, and regain confidence – all in a small, supportive group, following a programme written by our lead physiotherapist and delivered by one of our caring, attentive instructors.
➡️ Only £12 for the full 6 weeks (thanks to part-funding from Active Essex)
➡️ Small group setting – maximum of 9 participants
➡️ Perfect for beginners or those returning to exercise
➡️ Includes a 1-1 pre-course phone assessment with a physiotherapist to tailor the exercises to your needs and goals

🌿 Beginners Pilates Course – with goodie bag included!
Starts Wednesday 21st January at 5:30 pm – 4 weeks, £39
If you’ve been meaning to start Pilates – or it’s been a while since you last came and you’d love a gentle reintroduction – this is your chance!
Our next Beginners Pilates Course will take you through the fundamentals in a friendly, physio-led environment. You’ll learn to move better, feel stronger, and understand how to protect your body from pain – plus you’ll receive a free welcome bag with £24 worth of Pilates goodies when you join.

💪 Reformer Pilates – 1-1s and small group classes
1-1 sessions available now | Group classes start week commencing 12th January
Our beautiful new Reformer Pilates machines are here! We’re starting with 1-1 sessions this month to help you get familiar with the equipment and movements before our small group classes begin in January.
✨ Early bird offer:
If you book your 1-1 before we close for Christmas on 20th December and buy your first block of 6 Reformer sessions, you’ll get £45 off – meaning your 1-1 session is completely free!
➡️ 1-1 Reformer sessions: £45 (includes free Pilates socks)
➡️ Group classes start w/c 12th January: Mon, Wed & Fri at 12pm & 1pm
➡️ 6-session block: £85 for members / £99 for non-members
➡️ A 1-1 assessment is required before joining a class – for your safety and to tailor the exercises to you, so if you’d like to join a class in January, book your 1-1 now to get ready.

You can also book a 6-week block of 1-1 Reformer sessions for focused individual rehab or to build confidence before joining a group. Book before 20th December and get £45 off, meaning 7 sessions for £300 (usually £362).

Wellbeing advice & free discovery calls – from early 2026
We’re excited to begin collaborating with Elisa – a qualified wellbeing coach with over 30 years’ experience in nursing, healthcare leadership, and clinical research – and she’s also been a part of our Pilates community for several years!
Elisa’s coaching style is empathetic, practical, and grounded in real-world understanding. She supports individuals who want to create meaningful, lasting change – whether that’s improving wellbeing and emotional resilience, building confidence, finding motivation through movement, setting realistic goals, or rediscovering fulfilment in their career.

That means we’ll now have 30 classes every week, giving you even more chances to join us and feel your best! For Pilates members, you can book yourselves in via the TeamUp app. Not a member? Join us for a free trial class by clicking the button below! Please note booking for our classes opens 4 weeks in advance.
