Benefits of Pilates

As 2019 draws to an end, it can be a good time to reflect on how the year has gone, but also to look forward to the New Year and think about what you’d like to achieve in 2020.  Creating realistic goals, and setting a time-frame for these can help us feel both positive and motivated to work towards them.

What should I expect from attending Physiotherapist led Pilates Classes?

Participating in pilates as a form of exercise has many benefits including:

All our classes at Animated Physiotherapy are taken by physiotherapists which means that:

  • Our instructors are able to understand any medical conditions or injuries you have, how they may affect you in a class, and give adaptations where needed;
  • We also have a good knowledge of sport and how to tailor classes to improve strength & flexibility, as well as reducing risk of injury for whichever sport or activity you’re training for.
